    Hi Kate,

Have you ever thought of writing something for a 9-12 age group? I am a senior editor in Penguin’s Children’s division, and have an idea that may interest you. If you would like to know more, please email me back.

    All the best,

    Catherine.

      Hi Catherine

Nice to meet you and no, I haven’t! I wouldn’t have thought my usual subject matter would put anyone in mind of me writing for children, um. But I actually love children’s lit. Always curious when people drop me mysterious messages like yours (I immediately thought: if she suggests we meet in a dark car park, I won’t go). If you’d like to email me, you can send an attachment to cora.kipling@textpublishing.com.au

      Thanks and best
      Kate
